Well, spring is certainly dragging its feet here in southern Wisconsin. But thanks to my green thumbed husband, we've got some spring inside!
This is a plant that my brother-in-law got for me while I was in the hospital last spring. I don't remember what the blooms looked like, (I had more important things to worry about then!) but I am loving this one!
And I couldn't resist showing you the pic pre-edit too. Man does that pink just POP in the first pic!
Here are some sprouts from some lilies I got last year, again while I was in the hospital. (Side note: I got over 30 bouquets of flowers and plants during those 6 weeks. All of the nurses loved coming to my room!) These are gorgeous dark pink lilies. I'll have to remember to show you when they bloom.
And yes, a few tester cards. These are not my favorite cards, but they're just trying out some new toys I bought a couple weeks ago. You know that itch? When you just have to use something but don't want to take the time to figure out the best way to use it?
So here is some of the new American Crafts embossing powder in Grapefruit. The card's okay, but it just doesn't showcase just how amazing the color of the power is. I'll have to play more this week.
This uses my new Nesties Label 1 dies. I've been drooling over Jennifer Holmes's shaped cards and needed to try one. But then I got stuck with what to do on the front. Again, more testing needed.
Goodnight!

Wow..that pink is much brighter!
The bloom and sprouts on your plants are a sign of new life and new beginnings for you both.
