T’was the mess before Christmas, and all through the house….
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse!
Yes, I need to create a mess before I ever put up any decorations. I need to see it all. See all of my containers, see all of my open surfaces. It drives Adam bonkers.
So here is my tree:
This is the first tree that I have done something other than string colored lights and hang all the ornaments that we’ve been given since we were babies. I just felt like trying something different!
I love it! And Adam will admit that it is pretty. But he still wants the multi-color lights and the rest of our ornaments (we did pick out a few of our favorites to put on this tree). To a degree, I agree with him. So I guess that we need two trees. ;) Yes, I’m sure that’s exactly what he meant.
Isn’t that just a cool star? Found it at Menards.

Your home looks so warm and inviting. I'm debating even putting up decorations since we'll be on vacation in only 21 days. Will you come decorate my home? Are you traveling back to MN for Christmas?
