Just a Little Organization

I altered these cups today for my preschool classes.  They started as cheapo plastic cups from Target and ended up as holders for the kids name sticks.  These are sticks that have each child's name on them.  We use them for picking helpers, taking turns, playing games, any time we need to calm those fears of, "Why didn't you pick me???"  :)

I used my favorite Bo Bunny Double Dot papers and some PTI ribbon, and of course my new love, Nestabilities!  After this project I am thinking about ordering some metal tag rims to make labels for everything in my house.  Just looks nice.  Don't know if you can see, but I used my Crop-a-dile to punch holes and add eyelets to the side of the cups to create the "pail" look.

Adam's gone tonight for a work conference.  I hate being alone here.  We're just too close to the highway and don't know our neighbors.  Thought that I would at least be productive today/tonight with all my time, but ended up taking a nap with Mel for a little too long.  Oh well!

My Etsy shop is up and running, but there is so much still to do until I am happy with it.  But then I also want to start working on getting published and I don't think I have the time to devote to both endeavors.  And I'm not sure which one I really want to pursue.  I guess truthfully, I don't know which, if either, will work out.  I know that I just have to jump in, but with our transitory state of living I'm always hesitant.  Okay, I can feel the ramblings spewing now!  lol

Tomorrow is Friday!!  Adam got tickets to see Chris Tomlin for Christmas and that concert is on Saturday.  I am really looking forward to it.  His new album is definitely from the mouth of God.  Some good time of re-connection.

Okay, off to hopefully be a little productive tonight!

These are super cute! We do name sticks at the school I work at too. I dont use them because I see every kid in the school, and I dont want 400 sticks! LOL but all the regular teachers use them.

LOL, 400 sticks would be a few too many!
