Kristina's Color Challenge #43

#43

I haven't done one of these challenges in a while!  It's nice to get challenged again.  Well, I guess I can't say that it was challenging.  Once I saw those polka dots in the picture, I knew what I had to do.

I used this large, single, solid polka dot stamp from PTI's Polka Dot Basics.  It was just random placement.  I actually had a piece of white cardstock in my scrap basket that was the perfect size.  Don't you love it when that happens?

Then I added the sentiment, tied the button to the ribbon and added a rain dot.  The button got lost on the white background otherwise.

Oh, and yes, I did not use red like the color challenge asked for, but Berry Sorbet was just calling my name last night!

I did add this card to my Etsy Shop.  A friend told me that I need to get some variety up there.  Expect me to be adding more soon!

Off to do some Saturday chores, and get some bookcases later at Shop-Ko.  We finally decided after lots of waiting and praying and searching to just stay in this apartment indefinitely.  That means that I am going to sink a little money into making this place feel like home.  Things I have wanted to do/get, but thought, "What if it wouldn't fit or work in the new place?"  So, time to settle in for a while!

Very pretty! I read through your blog awhile back and saw that you had been through some pretty tough times. When I read about your baby all I could do was pray for you and your husband! I see that God has given you so much strength! I just wanted you to know that a girl from a little town in Texas was touched by your life and that I was praying for you! Through Christ, all things are possible! God Bless You both!
