PTI Blog Hop!

 

Yay! Life has settled down a bit and just in time for the Blog Hop!  This month was all about summer inspirations.  Hop on over HERE to see the rest of the participants.

Here is one of my fabulous lilies that just happen to grow at my new house.  I can’t wait until we finally have all of our beds weeded.  Three years of neglect can do some bad things!

Anyways, so the orange, yellow and green from the picture just screamed summer to me, so I took that route.

I found a good, rich orange cardstock in my stash and used the Spellbinders ribbon tag.  Also pulled out my brand-spankin’ new QuicKutz embossing folder.  Love those squares!  I used a sentiment from “A Day at the Beach,” which I just got this week.  That set has so many possibilities.

Of course the sun had gone behind a cloud when I took this pictures, so it’s not as vibrant as the flower.  Not a whole lot going on here, but I’m okay with that.  The white adds just enough *pop.*
