Little Surprises

I went outside one night this week to take pictures of our emerging tulips, (I’m attempting to compile a time-delay montage).  I walked halfway down the line of tulips when Adam stopped and told me to look down.

I did.  Only to find these little surprises around my feet!

I had walked right past a whole handful of them!  I’m planning on doing some more work on our flower beds today, but alas, no mulch or flowers yet, so I’m not sure that it will be very attractive.  I’m just going for weed destruction right now!
